Tenured Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Didactics at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She is a member of the Galician Group for Studies on Training and Employment Insertion (GEFIL), the Permanent Seminar on Emotionality, Genders and Human Development (EXDEHU), and the Interdisciplinary Center for Feminist Research and Gender Studies (CIFEX, in its Galician acronym).
Her work primarily revolves around feminist pedagogies and coeducation; the prevention of sexual and gender-based harassment; sexual orientation and gender identity; feminist animal pedagogy; emotional education; and teaching competencies in Vocational Training.
She has participated in various international, national, and regional research projects and has delivered numerous conferences on her areas of study.
Furthermore, she received the third prize in the research category at the IX Edition of the Awards for the Introduction of the Gender Perspective in Teaching and Research.
