Biography

Miguel A. Barberá Gregori

Director of the Department of Internships at ADEIT, University-Business Foundation of the University of Valencia since 1987. 

He holds a Ph.D. in Pedagogy and a degree in Geography and History from the University of Valencia. His responsibilities include the organization and management of university internships, as detailed at ADEIT Internships, and the evaluation of the quality of internships at RODERIC. He is also involved in the training and accreditation of internship tutors, with resources available at SEAT

He is the principal investigator of the project “System for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Internship Tutors,” funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport (Order EDU/2346/2011). This initiative aimed to enhance the implementation of tutorial systems in undergraduate studies, as outlined in the Resolution of August 18, 2011, B.O.E. 210 of 01-09-2011 (2011-2012). 

With 36 years of experience in managing projects linking university and business, he has participated in the development of all regulations governing academic internships at the University of Valencia. He served as an External Evaluator in the Institutional Evaluation Program (PEI) of ANECA (2004-2006). He was a promoter and co-director of the University of Valencia’s Internship Evaluation Program (PAPE) (2005-2009) and of the UNECAM Program (2006-2011), aimed at improving the employability of university students during internships. 

He also led the “System for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Internship Tutors” at the University of Valencia (initiated in 2012), through which 600 internship tutors from both companies and academic institutions have been trained and accredited. He is a member of the executive team and a founding member of the Association for the Development of Practicum and External Internships: Practicum Network (REPPE) REPPE.
