Biography

Mª del Mar García Ruiz

Researcher and lecturer with a predoctoral FPU contract from the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities at the Department of Didactics and School Organization at the University of Granada. 

Her research lines are situated within University Didactics, Inclusive Education, and Information and Communication Technologies in Education and Training. She is a member of the FORCE Research Group (Teacher Training Centered on the School) and has collaborated on various research projects, including “Development and Optimization of Intergenerational Educational Actions for the Promotion of Responsible Internet Use.”

She completed a Short Research Stay (3 months) at the Universidade Aberta de Lisboa, where she collaborated with the Laboratório de Educação a Distância e eLearning (4372 FCT). She holds a Predoctoral Contract for University Teacher Training (FPU19/00505). 

She received an initiation research grant for undergraduate students in the 2018/19 academic year, collaborating with the Profith Research Group, “Promoting Fitness And Health Through Physical Activity.” She was awarded the University of Granada-Caja Rural Granada Prize for Academic Excellence in the 2018/19 academic year and the University of Granada Prize for book acquisition to the top academic records in the 2017/18, 2016/17, and 2015/16 academic years.
