She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pedagogy, Didactics, and School Organization Area at the University of Jaén. Her research lines are related to practicum, digital competence, and teacher training. She holds a Licentiate and Ph.D. in Pedagogy, as well as a Diploma in Teaching from the University of Granada.
She has participated in 12 research projects, both internal and national ones, being the principal investigator in one of them. Additionally, she has participated in 7 educational innovation projects, of which she has led two related to digital competence and the use of educational resources. She has presented nearly 70 papers at national and international conferences and symposia, and has published over 40 articles on the subject of the teaching practicum and educational resources.
She has enjoyed several research and teaching stays, both national and international, as well as the Erasmus+ program, for which she is a promoter of Bilateral Mobility Agreements. She served as Vice-Dean of Institutional Relations and Social Projection (2020-2023) in the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences at the University of Jaén. She has participated as a reviewer in several journals and as a member of the scientific committee of international congresses related to educational technology.
