Biography

Jesica Abalo Paulos (FPI)

Graduated in Primary Education (2014), Master in Specific Educational Support Needs (2018) from the University of Vigo. Graduated in Pedagogy (2019) with an Extraordinary Award from the University of Santiago de Compostela, and is currently a student in the Doctoral Program in Equity and Innovation in Education. 

She has teaching experience in various subjects of the Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education at the University of Vigo, such as “Didactic and Organizational Fundamentals of Teaching,” “Didactic and Organizational Aspects of Special Education,” and “New Technologies Applied to Primary Education.” She has also been an invited lecturer in “Didactic and Organizational Fundamentals of Teaching,” “School Organization,” and “Design and Development of the Early Childhood Education Curriculum.” Additionally, she worked for several years at the Nenoos center in Vilagarcía, where she carried out individualized pedagogical interventions with children who had educational needs (Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia, Behavioral Disorders, among others). 

Currently, she is a researcher in the Department of Didactics, School Organization, and Research Methods at the University of Vigo (Ourense Campus), with a predoctoral contract for the training of doctors (FPI) from the Ministry of Science and Innovation, through which she is developing her doctoral thesis.
