Doctor in Educational Sciences from UNED (2011), with a degree in Exact Sciences from the University of Málaga (1989), and an expert in Internet use and its applications from UNED. He is a member of the EDUTEC evaluation panel, a member of the editorial boards of digital journals, and a tutor professor for INTEF. He also serves as a Secondary Education teacher for adult education and an associate professor at the University of Málaga in the Department of Mathematics Didactics, Social Sciences Didactics, and Experimental Sciences. 

His research focuses on the effective implementation of new technologies in the classroom. He has significant experience in teacher training related to Web 2.0 tools, educational use of interactive whiteboards, mobile device management, video annotations in educational settings, educational robotics, and the use of generative artificial intelligence. 

The researcher has consistently attended educational technology conferences and seminars, where he has served as a speaker and panelist. Additionally, he has published numerous articles, books, and book chapters on educational topics.
