Associate Professor in the Department of Business Organization at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Business (Gipuzkoa Section). He holds a PhD in the field of Economics and Business from the University of Girona (Interuniversity Doctoral Program in Law, Economics and Business, 2014), and has completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies in this field (Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from UPV/EHU, 2011).

He has participated as a researcher in various competitive research projects and groups (UPV/EHU, consolidated groups within the Basque University System, and the Spanish National R&D Plan), working across different areas of study such as quality management, environmental management and sustainable development, as well as the promotion of Dual University Education (work-study programs) and entrepreneurship.

He also has professional experience as an economist and researcher in various institutions, including Orkestra – Basque Institute of Competitiveness (2008) and the Matia-Ingema Gerontology Institute (2011–2017). In the sphere of university management, he has held several positions of responsibility, including Director of Internships, Dual Training, and Employability at UPV/EHU (2021–2025), and Vice-Dean for Business Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Business (2018–2019).
